Attorney Cooper, following in the footsteps of Civil Rights Era attorneys, brought her solo practice to Historic Farish Street in 1999. Thus began her commitment to the greater Jackson area.

She established Mid-Town Law Office, P.A. on East Davis Street in 2003 as a result of her partnerships and collaborations with several community development centers and non-profit organizations in the area.

Standing firm on the pledge to serve underrepresented communities, Mid-Town relocated to the Georgetown Community in 2016. Today, the office is located on the premises of Jackson Memorial Funeral Service, which was established by the late Eddie Tucker, Esq., a prominent Civil Rights Attorney.

​Mid-Town continues to advocate for social justice, civic engagement, and economic empowerment. In addition to rendering exceptional legal services, the law office hosts educational workshops and mentoring programs for youth and young adults.
