Loretta Wells,
Legal Assistant/Office Manager

Mrs. Loretta Wells, who manages MTLO, its attorneys, and client matters, earned her Associates degree in Business Technology from Hinds Community College in 1989.

After 26 years of service to Hinds County, Mississippi as a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Clerk’s Office, Mrs. Wells retired in 2017 so that she could devote more time to her family and traveling. She joined MTLO in 2021.

“Ms. Loretta,” as she is affectionately called, does not allow anything to interfere with following the Jackson State University Tigers, and her greatest joy comes from singing praises to God in her church choir.
